He is survived by: his wife Margret Roney (Elaine); his daughters, Sherita Fisher (Kirk) and Shelley Johnson (James); his grandchildren, Morgan Roney, Christion Roney and Kirk Fisher Jr. Floyd; his sisters, Catherine Brown (Ollie), Princess Jones (Vandy), Joyce Johnson (James) and Edna Brown (Charlie); and his siblings-in-law, Vonda Morgan, Larry Morgan (Barbara), Frankie Morgan (Sylvia) and Alvin Bonner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A memorial gathering was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Joseph M. Johnson & Son Funeral Home (530 S Sycamore St, Petersburg, VA 23803). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Little Zion Baptist Church (24603 Little Zion Rd, Carson, VA 23830).
