She was predeceased by : her husband James T. "Jimmy" Welton. She is survived by : her sons, James Andrew "Andy" Welton (Ann) and John Gregory Welton (Cassia); her granddaughters, Bailey and Sydney Welton; her stepgranddaughter Abagail Cook; and her siblings, Evelyn Welti and Mark Overman (Debbie).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lebanon United Methodist Church (12450 Courthouse Rd, Dinwiddie, VA 23841). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (610 W 5th Ave, Lawrenceville, VA 23868).
