She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Mullens and Ruth Mullens; her husband Richard Van Ness; her brothers, David and Keith Mullens; and her granddaughter Mary Van Ness.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Zupo (Tommy); her grandsons, Shane Zupo (Tori) and Hunter Zupo (Jessie); her great grandchild Charlotte Zupo; her children, Rick Van Ness (Beth) and Myra Bentley (Tony); her grandchildren, Kayla Van Ness, Trey Van Ness (Shiloh) and Allison Bentley (Ben); her great grandchildren, Jaiden Everett, Harper Bailey and Kade Van Ness; her sisters-in-law, Frances Mullens and Linda Smith; her aunts, Priscilla Lawson and Joan Liddle; and her uncle Joe Bower. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hunton Baptist Church (11660 Greenwood Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Westhampton Memorial Cemetery (10000 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238).
