He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Dottie" Dorothea Armstrong; his daughters, Patricia Marshall (Wendell) of Franklin, WV, Karen Mitchell of Broadway and Leslie Armstrong (Cole) of Head Waters; his siblings, Harald Mitchell of Harrisonburg and Thelma Fleisher of Franklin, WV; his grandchildren, Kimberly Zdan, Warren Marshall, Lisa Neil, Sydney, Anna and Zach Armstrong; and his great grandchild Carson Neil.
