She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arlie and Margie Mae Armstrong (Ervine); her spouse Carroll Charles Mitchell; and her siblings, Mildred Clements, Betty Griffin, Arlene Trayer, Buck Armstrong, Glen Armstrong, Sham Armstrong, Polly Ritchie, Constance "Connie" Townsend, Lena "Fay" Colaw, Becky Hupman, Brown Armstrong and Hallie Mackey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Marshall (Wendell) of Franklin, WV, Karen Mitchell of Broadway and Leslie Armstrong (Cole) of Head Waters; her grandchildren, Kimberly Zdan, Warren Marshall, Lisa Neil, Sydney Armstrong, Anna Phillips and Zach Armstrong; and her great grandchild Carson Neil.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul Independent Lutheran Church (4198 Doe Hill Rd, Sugar Grove, WV 26815). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Paul Cemetery (4198 Doe Hill Rd, Sugar Grove, WV 26815).
