He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith Simmons of Doran, VA; his sons, Billy Simmons, II (Crystal) of Bristol, TN, Shane Simmons of Abingdon, VA and Ben Simmons (Cindy) of Lynn Haven, FL; his siblings, Sandra Simmons Spruell of Maryville, TN, Renee Simmons (Tucker) of Bluefield, VA. and Jack L. Simmons (Phyllis) of Richlands, VA; his grandchildren, Vince Simmons, Sean Simmons, Levi Simmons, Kennedy Simmons, Logan Simmons (Olivia), Will "Joey" Simmons and Rianna Simmons; and his stepgranddaughter Sadie Martin.
