He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria McDaniel; and his sister Evelyn Winston. He is survived by: his daughter Myrna McDaniel; his sibling's children, Dennis Winston, Robinette Poole and Jeanette Mallory; and his friend Walter Coleman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (412 S Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA 23005). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
