He was predeceased by: his parents, Everlena Doss Bowling and Earl Edwin Bowling; and his stepdaughter Leigh Ann Stevenson. He is survived by: his wife Selena Coleman Bowling; his daughter Megan Nikole Bowling; his cousin Ricky Bowling; his stepson-in-law Stevie Stevenson; his stepgrandchildren, Kyleigh Stevenson and Brynlee Stevenson; and his pet ToddIn.
