She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Clyde and Mamie Lee Brumfield; her siblings, Early Clyde Brumfield, Laurs Brumfield, Robert Lee Brumfield, Eva Wayne Brumfield, Frances Brumfield Buchanan, Susie Mae Brumfield and Ila Faye Reid; her sister-in-law Robyn Lewis Brumfield; and her son-in-law Robert Slayton.
She is survived by: her husband Nelson Davis; her daughters, Judy Powers (Greg), Cindy Slayton and Virginia Harding (Danny); her brother Larry David Brumfield; and her sister-in-law Ila Faye Reid. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hopewell United Methodist Church (4585 Dry Fork Rd, Dry Fork, VA 24549). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
