She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Matheson and Ivalee Isaacs Matheson; and her son Randy Skeens. She is survived by: her spouse Dale Carlton Skeens; her children, Linda Skeens, Dan Skeens and Brian Skeens (Angela); her grandson Andrew Skeens; and her brother Hubert C. Matheson of Boone, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dublin Baptist Church (100 Hawkins St, Dublin, VA 24084). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
