We announce the death of Brenda Mae Reed Wilson of Dublin, Virginia, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 76. Brenda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Gray and Ruby Lucille Musselman Reed; and her siblings, Pearl Quesenberry and Junior Reed. She is survived by: her husband Claude Allen Wilson; her daughter Christina Hale (Scott); her grandchildren, Chelsea Thomason (Cary), Scott Hale, Jr. (Jordan), Rachel Hale and Emily Harrell (Ray); and her brother John Reed. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, numerous other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hope Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery (5550 Bagging Plant Rd, Dublin, VA 24084).
