We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2023, at the age of 79, Carolyn Thompson of Dublin, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Virginia Smith Akers and Samuel Lee Akers; and her husband Zebbie Miller Thompson. She is survived by : her children, Curtis Thompson (Sheri), Diane Marion and Jennifer Shartzer (Scott); her grandchildren, Ben, Adam (NaKayla), Mallory (Sam), Grayson, Keely, Delaney and Maggie; her siblings, Charles Akers (Patsy), Don Akers (Janice) and Joyce Page (Jerry); and her brother-in-law Bill Hubble.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory, to Dublin United Methodist Church.
