He was predeceased by : his father Charles Thomas McDaniel; the mother of his children Deby McDaniel; and his sisters, Jean Smith, Sue Croy and Clydie McDaniel.

He is survived by : his wife Loretta McDaniel; his children, Kim Allen (Greg), Kari McDaniel, Whitney Nau (Dustin), Ashley Chrisley (Jake), Kayla Whittaker and Kody McDaniel; his mother Ruby Gladys Phillips McDaniel; his grandchildren, Adam Allen (Samantha), Drew Allen, Jackson Allen, Braxton McDaniel, Avery Nau, Addie Quesenberry, Alan Chrisley and Kayelea Chrisley; his great grandchild Jameson Allen; his sister Connie Scott; and his caregivers, Angela Cecil, Venesha Keith and Fairlawn Church of God. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
