Doris Ann Covey Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Ann Covey of Dublin, Virginia, born in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance C. Halsey and Mattie Phipps Halsey; and her husband Earl S. Covey. She is survived by: her son Stuart; her daughter-in-law Lora Covey of Dublin; her daughter Vann; her son-in-law Charlie Byrd Duncan; her grandchildren, Sydney Covey Kegley (Will), Parker Covey, Mason Covey and Elizabeth Duncan; her sisters, Peggy Hemmings of Dublin and Patsy; and her brother-in-law Don Otey of Grand Prairie, TX. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
