She was predeceased by : her parents, Harrison W. White and Minnie Thompson White; her husband Hensel Lee Underwood; and her siblings, David H. White, Kellas M. White, James C. White, Hubert W. White, Gladys Stevens, Edith Kitts, Lucille Warner, Violet Woodyard, Glenna Fanning and Reba Myers.

She is survived by : her sons, Danny (Angelia Underwood) and Mark (Shelia Underwood); her grandchildren, Brittany Austin and Branden Underwood; and her stepgrandchildren, Lindsay Fedok, Lauren Bullen and Chip Huff. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dublin United Methodist Church (424 E Main St, Dublin, VA 24084). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (5555 Lee Hwy, Dublin, VA 24084).
