He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lemons and Ada Williams Lemons; the mother of his children Geneva M. Lemons; and his brothers, John "Bo" Lemons and Don Lemons.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lemons; his daughters, Cherie S. Snell (Donald) and Tonya L. Byrd; his stepson Matt Dean (Tami); his grandchildren, Taylor Byrd, Sydney Byrd, Iverson Snell and Addison Dean; and his siblings, Frank Lemons, Christiansburg, Robert "Rich" Lemons (Brenda), Terry "Chub" Lemons (Linda), Tony Lemons (Alice), Jim "Gee" Lemons (Joetta), Pat "Ann" Walker (Tommy) and Pam House (Tom).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the St. Judes Children's Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
