He is survived by: his wife Annie Lois Arnold Lyons; his children, Steven T. Lyons (Lala) and Robin Gayle Lyons; his sisters, Iris Williams and Anita Dean; his sisters-in-law, Maxine Lyons and Lou Ann Lyons; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Lyons; his grandchildren, Carrie Monday, Beth McGee (Michael), Robert Pendleton Lyons (Tiffani) and Aurora Lyons; and his great grandchildren, Madlynne, Christian, Emma, Elliott, Noah Pendleton, Aubrey and Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Seagle Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery (5550 Bagging Plant Rd, Dublin, VA 24084).
