He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip B. Carr, Sr. and Ilene W. Carr of Check, Virginia.; his wife Martha "Marti" Carr; and his brother Philip B. Carr, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Reba Akers; his daughter Kimberly; his son-in-law Wesley Vest; his son Anthony Carr; and his grandchildren, Tya Carr, Breeana Carr, Wesley "Aaron" Vest, Thomas Vest and Erika Vest.
