We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025, at the age of 77, Thomas Guill Barker of Dublin, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Saint Barker and Elva Waller Barker. He is survived by: his son Bradley; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Barker of Dublin; his grandsons, Andrew Barker and Caleb Barker; his siblings, Sharon Barker of Rural Retreat and Gary; his sister-in-law Shannon Barker of Oklahoma; his former wife Phyllis; and his close friends, Gayle Bolt of Independence, VA, Nola Humphrey, Clinton Willie, Virgil and Freda Sexton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Hope Church (6921 Ivanhoe Rd, Ivanhoe, VA 24350). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the Mt. Hope Church Cemetery (6921 Ivanhoe Rd, Ivanhoe, VA 24350).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Mt. Hope Church.
