He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Henry and Elizabeth Carol McDavid (Wallen); his wife Wanda Nell McDavid; and his siblings, Gerald McDavid and Janieve Roach.
He is survived by: his children, Myra Bledsoe (Keith) of Richmond, KY, Mark McDavid Duffield (Angela Powers) and Karla Hackworth (John) of Winston-Salem, NC.; his grandchildren, Laken Tomlinson (Chris), Elizabeth Neal (Jesse), Abby Hackworth (Clint), Heather Foutch (Caleb), Maggie Brooke and Jacob Hackworth; his great grandchildren, Savannah Neal, Anniston Tomlinson, Connor Tomlinson and Jaxon Tomlinson; and his siblings, Beulah Bishop, Wanda Bishop, Anita Jones, Dremia Smith, Charolotte Lane, Rev. Vernon McDavid and Sam McDavid. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
