It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Jane Livesay of Duffield, Virginia, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Williams and Anna Mae Williams (Rhoton); and her daughter Sabrina Michelle Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Roy Jeter; her son Scott Thompson (Melisa); her grandchildren, Kristina Thompson, Ramon Espino, Tony Espino, Emily Thompson and Zachary Salyer; her great grandchildren, Rashad Amari Menya and Alyviah Briella Thompson; and her pets, Maybelle, Tiko, Chloe and Silas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gate City Funeral Home (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Holston View Cemetery (226 Yuma Rd, Weber City, VA 24290).
