He was predeceased by: his daughter Ashley Porter; his grandson Domonta O'Brian Milliner; his mother Jean Straton Porter; and his sister Margaret Hounshell. He is survived by: his son Leon Porter; and his siblings, Ruth "Shimmey" Ross and Guy "Mousey" Porter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a lot of good friends.
