She was predeceased by: her parents, Jabe Harmon and Millie Eva Belcher Conner; her husband Hansen Delano Goad; her daughter Carol Goad; her siblings, Henry Conner (Oral Lee Conner), Mary (Waymon Wood), Rachel Conner and Ester Conner; and her brothers-in-law, Hollis (Sophie Goad) and Willis Quesenberry (Roy Frazier).
She is survived by: her children, Jodie Goad of Dugspur, Jamie Goad of Dugspur and Lesa Love of Roanoke; her grandsons, Tyler Goad and Braden Goad; her siblings, James Conner (Jabe Conner, Jr.) of Floyd, Kathy (Glen Leo Conner) of Floyd, Susan (Susie Hickman) of Floyd and David (Becky Conner) of Eden, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Ovalene Quesenberry and Mardell Frazier. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
