We bid farewell to Ruth Marshall Oliveira of Dugspur, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 4, 2026 at the age of 88. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter W. Marshall and Grace Sutphin Marshall; her siblings, Hal, Ray, Bernard, Virgil, Lucille, Ethlyn, June and Ralph; her grandsons, Jesse Daniel and Ian Reed; and her nieces and nephews, Wade Wells, Jan Thorsten, Judy Berger, Cynthia Elder and Mary Lynn Mathieu.
She is survived by: her husband Anthony; her sons, Stephen (Annette), Mark and Walter (Stephanie); her grandson Ross (Elena); her great grandchildren, Emma and Jesse; and her nieces and nephews, Evelyn Hoult, Carolyn Boyer, Barbara Arent, Carol Ingram, Sandra Thompson, Becky Goebert, Linda Coates, Ruth Marcum, Gail Lindberg, Jane Clary, Anne Oliveira, E. Gary Marshall, Blake Marshall, David Marshall, Buddy Mayberry, Barry Mayberry, John Oliveira and Michael Oliveira.
