He is survived by: his girlfriend Christine Wood; his close friend Sam; his parents, Gwen Carter and Edward Carter; his sons, Antonio, Isaiah, Odea, Todd, Michael and Justin; and his brother Matsuda. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
