Larry Cecil Porter Sr. Obituary

The memory of Larry Cecil Porter Sr. (Dulles, Virginia), born in Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Hall Washington Porter and Edna Lucille Porter (Fink); his siblings, Lloyd Hall Porter, Bertha Mae Helms (Porter) and Barbara Darlene Brooks (Porter); and his son Jerry Wayne Porter.

He is survived by: his wife Margret Ann Porter (Redwine); his children, Larry "Cecil" Porter, Jr. (Deborah), Margaret Kathleen (Porter) and Grivas (Nicole); his stepchildren, Michael Ray Potter (Trish), Kimberly Ann Taylor (Potter), Kelly Lynn (Potter) and Penniman (Aldo); and his grandchildren, Jerry "JP", Emilyn, Lennon and Keegan. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arcola United Methodist Church (24757 Arcola Mills Dr, Dulles, VA 20166). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 42604 Trade W Dr, Sterling, VA 20166. Please kindly RSVP here: Honor Brewery Reception RSVP.
