He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wilds and Rena Wilds (Henson); his nephew Frederick Mark Reed; his brother Eugene Robinson; his siblings-in-law, Gwendolyn Wilds (Darden) and Frederick E. Reed; his son-in-law Albert "Stonewall" Jackson; and the mother of his children Gloria M. Wilds (Lesene).
He is survived by: his wife Mabel Wilds (Best); his daughters, Lisa, Christina, Paula Davis (Eric) and Anita Socci (Michael); his stepdaughter Cynthia Hall (Schelley); his grandchildren, Myesha, Kathryn, Michael Sr., Jason, Garrett and Devin; his great grandchildren, Michael Jr., Rhys and Rhayne; and his nieces and nephews, William Robinson (late Mattie), Rena Reed Carter (George), Eric Wilds (Monica), Vesta Huggins (Ronnie), Vicki Mitchell, Cassandra Johnson and Taunya Curry.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Mt. Zion Baptist Church (16622 Dumfries Rd, Dumfries, VA 22025). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
