She was predeceased by : her parents, John Lane and Bernice Whitson; her daughter Sheron Richardson; her spouse Eddie Richardson; and her brothers, Willie Bush, Charles Whitson, Billy Whitson, Morris Whitson and Donald Whitson.
She is survived by : her son Kenneth Richardson (Tracey Richardson); her grandchildren, Norman Richardson, Matt Wagener (Regina Wagener) and Ashley Wagener; her great grandchildren, Arianna Thompson, Reegan Wagener and Ravyn Wagener; her sisters, Sarah Frazier and Doris Whitson; her sister-in-law Emma Jean Harris; and her cousin Elizabeth Webb (Nip). She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Emma received multiple appreciation awards for the hospitality she provided and the time she donated volunteering during her time as a military spouse.
