It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wesley Hodges in Dumfries, Virginia, born in Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hodges and Grace Hodges Dillman; and his sister Susan Nierstheimer. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hammell Hodges; his daughters, Deborah Shelton (Jon) and Gretchen Wills (Jason); and his grandchildren, Cameron Wills, Ethan Wills, Hayden Wills, Madelyn Wills, Andrew Shelton, Alex Shelton and Natalie Shelton.
