He is survived by: his daughter Gillian Cook; his son-in-law Ken; his grandchildren, Tobias, Magdalene, Ezra, Jacinta, Simeon, Malachi and Zelie Ruth; his daughter Clare Hedlund; his grandchildren, William, Luke, Adeline and Maire; and his sisters, Betty Jean Richwein (Roy) and Mary Ellen Cote. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Bridget of Ireland Catholic Church (1020 W Main St, Berryville, VA 22611). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at the Cool Spring Natural Cemetery.
