She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Payne; her daughter Marie Jones; and her son-in-law Bobby Jones. She is survived by: her children, Eugene Payne (Betty Jean) and Diane Kagle. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM and on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A committal service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the National Memorial Park (7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042).
