He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Green Taylor and Pauline Nichols Taylor; and his siblings, Gary Taylor, Karen Johnston and Janet Ennis.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Shifflett Taylor; his son Robby Taylor (Sandra); his grandchildren, Logan of Washington, Utah and Brandon Taylor of Washington, Utah; and his brother Irvin Taylor of Charlottesville.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Batten Funeral Home (12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sholes Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to help cover funeral expenses. All donations can be made in person or by phone to Batten Funeral Home.
