He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Webber Wood and Mamie Florence Wood; and his brother Carlton Wood. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Wood (Ronnie Serrett) and Vickie Wood Hensley (Norman Ballowe); his grandchildren, Rachel Hensley Goldberg (Mark), Erin Hensley (Kade Wonders), Thomas Earl Wood and William Kian Wood; his great grandchildren, Violet Bree Goldberg and Maia Hope Goldberg; and his siblings, Judy Batten (Fred) and Andy Wood (Debbie).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Teague Funeral Service (2260 Ivy Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903).
