He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Nay and Margaret H. Nay of Faber; and his sisters, Annie Mahanes of Charlottesville and Edith Leathers of Afton. He is survived by: his wife Meta of Earlysville; his children, Annette "Amy" King (Steve) of Richmond, Dr. William "Tim" Nay (Roxann) of Richmond, Wendell Nay (Christy) of Stanardsville and Jenne Garrett (Travis) of Charlottesville; and his siblings, Judy Williams of Lynchburg, James Nay of Ruckersville and Cecil Nay (Mary) of Ruckersville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
