He was predeceased by : his parents, Allen Winford and Pearl Barker Medley; and his daughter Misty Dawn Medley. He is survived by : his children, Benny "B. J." Medley, Jr. of Elk Creek, VA, Joe Medley of Elk Creek, VA and Michelle Medley of Elk Creek, VA; his sisters, Patsy (Phil Segraves), Peggy (Johnny Cox) and Polly (Robert Gilbert); and his great-niece Antigini Garrett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
