He was predeceased by: his parents, Doll Smallwood and Rosa Belle Sage Smallwood; and his brother Roy Smallwood. He is survived by: his wife Mary Noblett Smallwood; his daughter Holly Mason (Chase); his grandsons, Tristen Mason and Talon Mason; his sister Wanda Bourne; his nephew Mark Bourne (Leah); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke Bourne (Jennifer), Chance Bourne (Laken), Clint Bourne (Hannah), Savannah Cox (Travis) and Sally Osborne (Harvey).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
