We announce the death of Doris Ellen Knott of Elkton, Virginia, who passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 84. Doris will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wilson Breeden and Hettie Hensley Breeden; her son Kenneth W. Presgraves; and her siblings, Elvin "Danger" Breeden, Wayne Breeden, Robert Breeden, Sheila Boyd and Peggy Plunk.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Kenny" Knott; her children, Norman J. Lam, Jr. and Melissa Ann "Missie" Hutton; her siblings, Alma Sullivan, Geraldine Wyant, Roxanna Taylor and Bernard Breeden; and her grandchildren, Cassie Courtney, Tabitha Lucas and Kolby Presgraves. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
