He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William H. Nicholson and Lillian "Ruppie" Rupert Nicholson; his wife Ruby Ann Nicholson; his son Craig Nicholson; his sister Louise Nicholson; and his cousin Margie Kite.
He is survived by: his sons, Allen Nicholson (Francee) and Will Nicholson (Melissa); his close friend Debra Smith; his brother William H. Nicholson, IV; his grandchildren, Meghan Cardin (Zach), Noa Nicholson, Gabriel Nicholson, Javis Nicholson, Summer Nicholson, Kiera Nicholson and Hannah Nicholson; his great grandchildren, Alva "AJ" Cardin and AdaJane Cardin; and his cousins, Curtis Kite and Beth Kite.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Elkton (115 Nicholson Rd, Elkton, VA 22827).
