He was predeceased by: his parents, William Davis and Arbutus Hammer Strickler; his wife Yvonne Meadows Strickler; and his siblings, William David Strickler, Leroy Strickler, Tillie Offenbacker and Bonnie Haney.

He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Strickler; and his sisters, Judy Strickler Coffman of Keezletown and Mary Alice Pauley of Churchville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
