He was predeceased by: his parents, Talley Ran and Blanch Beulah Stoneberger Stanley; and his siblings, Charles R., Eugene Stanley, Phyllis Shifflett, Janice Stanley and Maxine Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann Shifflett Stanley; his son Gregory Scott Stanley (Melissia); and his granddaughter Taylor Brooke Stanley.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Elkton (115 Nicholson Rd, Elkton, VA 22827). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
