He is survived by: his parent Beverly Katherman Gentry; his spouse Kay Shifflett-Katherman; his children, Kayley Martin (Frankie), Amber Davis and Brian Shifflett (Heather); his grandchildren, Dylan Shifflett, Cameron Shifflett, Addison Caricofe, Aiden Davis, Addalynn Vandevander, Brynna Shoemaker and Haygun Martin; his sister Bethanee Swisher (Scottie); his nieces and nephews, Jessica McCray, Taylor Wilcher (Tyler), Matthew McCray (Danielle) and Cody Swisher (Raven); his great-niece Breckyn; his great-nephews, Colten, Langston and Hardyn; his aunt Tam; and his uncle Bob Chappell. He is also survived by cousins and many special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
