She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Jefferson Meadows and Mary Arbutus Hammer Meadows; her husband Carl Lee Merica; and her great grandchild Cameron Shuler. She is survived by: her children, David Merica (Tasha), Joyce "Joy" Shuler (Clinton), Sharon Jacobs (John) and Carolyn Chandler; her grandchildren, Zachary Chandler, Emily Shuler, Ethan Chandler, Amanda Saufley (Jason) and Brianna Hawkins (Gary); and her great grandchildren, Arianna Hawkins, Hope Whitmer, Ryan Hawkins, Harlan Saufley, Jagger Chandler and Graham Saufley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
