With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Franklin Stepp Sr. of Elkton, Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Henry and Gladys Marie Shifflett Stepp; his siblings, Robert H. Stepp, James L. Stepp, Reba F. Stepp, Elaine Offenbacker and Judith S. Hensley; and his granddaughter Coral E. Stepp.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Cubbage Stepp; his children, Vickie Hoover (Mike) of Stanardsville, Cheryl Lam (Bo) of Shenandoah, Kenneth Stepp, Jr. (Becky) of Elkton and David Stepp (Amber) of Elkton; his grandchildren, Amber Hoover-Eanes (Bobby), Derek Lam (Carly), Brandon Lam (Holly), Jacob Stepp, Emma Stepp, Riley Stepp and Copper Stepp; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Paisley, Parker Lam, Aylor Eanes and Keller Eanes; and his siblings, Raymond A. Stepp, Dale Stepp Dean, Martin Stepp, Margaret Rinaca, Jewell Croft, Polly Monger, Eva Huffman and Lois Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Elkton (115 Nicholson Rd, Elkton, VA 22827). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
