She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roadcap and Martha Foltz Roadcap; her half-brother Donnie Campbell; and her grandson Kevin Spitler. She is survived by: her husband Jacob Lawrence "Jake" Spitler; her sons, Edward "Eddie" Spitler (Brigitte) and Darrell Spitler (Angie); her grandchildren, Matthew Spitler (Jaime), Kim Farkas (Jon), Jordan Lam (Matt), Kelly Spitler and Dr. Bailey Johnson (Emmett); her great grandchildren, Kooper, Kara, Owen, Mason and Charlotte; her half-siblings, Jeffrey Roadcap (Patty) and Angie Campbell; and her stepsister Anna Lamma (Richard "Dick"). She is also survived by family members in addition to husband of 66 years.
