Mary Lee Breeden Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Lee Breeden of Elkton, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Earman and Mary Roach Shifflett; her son Michael Alden Breeden; and her granddaughter Emily Breeden. She is survived by: her son Dan R. Breeden (Korena); her daughter-in-law Peggy Breeden; her brothers, Kenneth Shifflett and Floyd Shifflett; her grandchildren, Michael Colby Breeden (Melanie), Kelly Breeden (Doug Hammer), Kyle Breeden (Abby) and Brandon Breeden (MacKenzie); and her great grandchildren, Madison Voight, Reagan Voight, Kennedy Voight, Irie Hammer, Teagan Marie Breeden, Oaklynn Breeden, Hudson Breeden and Liam Breeden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Elkton (115 Nicholson Rd, Elkton, VA 22827). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen and the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church (7078 Rocky Bar Rd, Elkton, VA 22827).
