It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Lee Ellis of Elkton, Virginia, who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Ellis and Alice Reedy Ellis; and his brothers, James Ellis and Spencer Ellis. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Paige Padrick (Greg) of Westminster, MD, Virginia Fulginiti of Elkton and Catherine Fulginiti of Elkton; and his siblings, Stromie Ellis of White Plains, MD, Barbara Armstong of Harrisonburg and Sandra McMeans (William) of Staunton. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
