He is survived by: his children, Michael Merica (Crystal), Roger Shifflett, Roy Shifflett, Ricky Merica, John Ford (Alisa), Sarah Shifflett, Norma Jean Chevalier (Mark), Stephanie Kinnee (Scott) and Janice Fulk (Jerry); and his brother Carroll Shifflett. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
