With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Virginia Meadows of Elkton, Virginia, born in Luray, Virginia, who passed away on May 31, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Dearing and Virginia Seal Dearing; her husband Bernard Lewis Meadows; and her siblings, Sherline Lam, Lewis, Frank, Lonnie, Jerry and Ronald Dearing.
She is survived by: her sons, B. Wayne Meadows (Holly) of Elkton, D. Kevin Meadows (Laura) of Elkton, Timothy P. Meadows of Port Republic and Darryl C. Meadows (Brenda) of Inwood; her siblings, Vivian Hitt, Randy Dearing (Norma Jean), Paul Dearing (Susan) and Millard "Lee" Dearing; and her grandchildren, Shannon Meadows, Majesta Pettinato, Christopher Meadows, Bridget Shull and Danielle McCain. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
