She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Russell and Dorothy Marie Comer Smith; her husband Forrest Lynn Dearing; her son Greg Dearing; and her sisters, Joyce Warren, Sue Elswick, Margaret Smith Campbell, June Gochenour and Laura Lillard.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Carper (Scott) and Jeffrey Lynn Dearing (Billie Jo); her granddaughters, Julie Dearing and Rebecca Ann Dearing; and her great grandchild Brantley Morral.
