He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hartless and Violet Hartless; his wife Esther Hartless; and his children, Valerie Yates and Danny Hartless.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Sexton, Karen Morris, Judy Smith (Stewart) and Nathan Hartless (Becky); his brother Kenneth Hartless; and his grandchildren, Michelle, Kim, Glenn, Hope, Jennifer, Julie, Bo, Jessica, Justin and Tim. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
